Meet KellyAnn,
KellyAnn is a board certified licensed professional counselor in Tennessee and Nevada. She graduated from Western Governors University with her BA in special education in 2020. After completing her student teaching, she pursued further studies to seek out mental health counseling at Liberty University to focus on mental health disorders. She earned her MA in counseling mental health in 2022 and has worked in private practice with an intentional focus placed onto couple’s work. Her desire to learn is evident by her active enrollment in the doctoral program at Liberty University to become a future counselor educator/supervisor.
She has always been drawn into the serving of others. This can be seen throughout her many professional/personal roles. Between her experiences on a military base as a civilian switch board operator, thriving as a casa volunteer for several years, to working as a 911 operator/dispatcher for the largest police agency in Las Vegas, furthermore, promoting into a commissioned police officer all while being a mother her life experience is rich in diversity. Her most prominent career experience as an officer ignited her passion to enact a change in the mental health field and holding onto her desire to help her fellow law enforcement family’s mental health needs.
KellyAnn's academia and internship history exposed her to many therapy modalities; however, when she was first exposed to a high conflict couple, she knew there was more that she needed to understand for her to provide therapeutic care to that conflict couple. This evoked her desire to seek and obtain a position within the best couples counseling private practice in Knoxville, TN. She purposefully grew her skill set under weekly supervision while serving couples through using the gold standard therapy EFT for couples. The mentorship, collaboration, and enhanced training she undergone has been instrumental into forming her skill set as an effectively trained EFT marriage therapist.
She has a blended family of 5 children, a supportive husband, three dogs, two cats, and loves all things pink. KellyAnn is warm, empathetic, and eager to serve you by co-creating healing within all your relationships. Her office will always include the fundamentals of an inviting comfortable space: a comfy couch, soft pillows, calm lighting, chocolate, coffee, other caffeine options, and few random pink items sprinkled throughout.
I look forward to meeting you and thank you for taking time to learn a little bit about me.
Blessings, KellyAnn
